Rascal grew out of a family farm in the highlands of Guatemala. Our great-great-grandfather Manuel Matheu Sinibaldi was one of the first in the region to grow coffee, and that obsession has been passed down ever since.
Today we work directly with the farms that raised us — bringing their single origins to East London, roasted weekly in small batches for cafés who care.

We buy coffee directly from family-owned fincas in Antigua, Atitlán, Jalapa and Huehuetenango. No middlemen. We visit every harvest, taste every lot, and only roast what genuinely excites us.
That means small volumes, traceable origins, and prices that reach the farmers who actually grew the cherry.
